The 7th International Conference on

Transportation and Space-time Economics (TSTE 2019)

11-13 October, 2019 | Beijing, China

Call for papers for a Special Session of the 7th International Conference on Transportation and Space-time Economics (TSTE), 11-13 October 2019, Beijing, China

Title of the Special Session:

Low-carbon Traffic and Transportation Economy

Dongchu Cui

China has proposed a “low-carbon transportation system” as the national strategy. The modern urban transportation system is a multi-mode superposition and composite spatial network service system with regular orientation. The travel route analysis is more complicated because it has to reflect the space and traffic characteristics of the multi-modal traffic travel path. Governments in China are very concerned about the expansion of urban rail transit networks. Considering the urban rail transit system is very complex, it is affected by government policy, economic, environmental, social development and other factors. This Special Session invites contributions to address research problems related to Low-carbon Traffic and Transportation Economy. It aims to promote knowledge exchange and scientific excellence in this intriguing field. The scopes and topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

(1) Multi-mode composite transportation network
(2) Urban combination travel path planning
(3) Resident travel behavior research
(4) Research on traffic congestion
(5) Traffic and environment
(6) Traffic construction and economic development
(7) Transportation planning and construction in the metropolitan area
(8) Economic benefits of rail transit construction

Submitted papers through strict review process will be recommended to the Special Issue of Transport Policy on “Low-carbon Traffic and Transportation Economy: Theoretical Analysis and Empirical Evidence” .
